Why reviews matter
A review tool should remove friction after a real customer experience. It should not manufacture praise or promise that one signal controls local search.
Read Google’s local-ranking guidanceRecent, genuine customer experiences give prospective customers useful context while they compare nearby options.
Google says more reviews and positive ratings can help a business’s local ranking, alongside relevance and distance.
A clear request point makes honest feedback easier without incentives, rating pressure, or filtering customers by sentiment.
The local pilot
The first version stays intentionally hands-on. Each selected placard is prepared, delivered, and tested with the business before Locally Shown decides what should scale.
We confirm the public business profile, customer handoff, and a sensible place for the placard.
The insert, QR path, and NFC tap point are customized around the business and its Google review form.
Aaron brings the placard to the business, tests the tap-and-scan path, and helps choose a practical placement.
The local pilot shows whether customers use the tool and which businesses benefit before the offer expands.
What selected businesses receive
The pilot is designed to be useful on day one. Locally Shown handles the physical setup and confirms that both paths reach the correct review destination.
Responsible by design
The message is neutral and intended for genuine customers after a real experience.
The placard does not offer discounts, gifts, or benefits in exchange for a review.
Customers are not filtered by satisfaction before they reach the public review destination.
Reviews can support prominence, but no placard controls search results or guarantees improvement.
More than a placard
The physical request point solves one practical problem. Some businesses also need a clearer feedback process, a more dependable profile, or stronger local demand.
